2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series at Daytona race was postponed due to rainfall

Because of heavy rain, the Nascar Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway was postponed on Friday night.

The 100 lap race will start again on Saturday 28 August at 12:30 PM, about 7 hours before the final of the regular season of the Cup. On Saturday, there are sporadic thunderstorms and a 40% chance of rainfall. After 19 laps on Friday, the sky opened, and the game was suspended with AJ Allmendinger leading. Christopher Bell ranked second, followed by Myatt Snider, series leader Austin Cindric and Brett Moffitt.

Brandon Jones dropped out because debris stuck to his grill, which caused the engine to overheat.
