Canadian Tire Motorsport Park previously called Mosport Park & Mosport International Raceway. It is a multi-track motorsport park situated in north Bowmanville Ontario, Canada. Track’s length is 2.459-mile. Its length was reduced to a wider track and re-surfacing has completed in the year 2003. It is a 10-turn road course. It has a 2.9 km advance driver and race driver training track with quarter-mile skidpad & 1.5 km kart track. Name "Mosport" is a contraction of Motor Sport that came from the enterprise that was formed to make the track; pronounced as two words actually sound, "Mo-Sport" but it is often pronounced incorrectly as "Moss-Port".
It has an open seating capacity without any limitations. It is owned and operated by Canadian Motorsports Venture Limited. The ground broke in 1960. It was opened in 1961. The construction cost is $500000. Its architect is Alan Bunting. It has a Clockwise Grand Prix Circuit with an asphalt surface. Its lap record is 1:04.094 made by Rinaldo Capello in 2008 at the ALMS LMP1 series.
