Nascar Road America Live

Road America is a motor speedway. It is situated near Elkhart Lake Wisconsin on Wisconsin Highway 67. It has open seating without any capacity limit. It is owned and operated by Road America Incorporation. It was opened in 1955. The previous name of this track was Elkhart Lake Road Races. It has a surface of asphalt material. Its length is 4.048 miles. It has 14 turns. It has a lap record of 1:39.866 held by Dario Franchitti in 2000 CART Series. Robin Miller the Open-wheel racing journalist says that Road America is "the best test of road racing in North America.


A lot of money is used in the improvements made throughout the years. But the original configuration never changed. In the year 2005 Road America Incorporation celebrated 50th birthday. History documented in the book, "Road America: Celebrating 50 Years of Road Racing" written by Tom Schultz. Celebrities that include; Tom Cruise, David Letterman, Patrick Dempsey, Ashley Judd, Tim Allen, and the late Paul Newman have visited the venue, not just because of the racing events but its scenic surroundings of its resort community.


This raceway has is big in business. It attracts over 800,000 every year from all around the world. Studies of Economic impact shows its visitors & events generate over $100 million US dollars every year. More than 425 events held every year at the Road America. Often runs many activities on the same day incorporating this four-mile track, interior Fleet Motorplex & Blain’s Farm and beautiful grounds surroundings of the facility.

Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series (2000-2001), (2011-2013) and The Hawk with Brian Redman (vintage cars). SCCA Runoffs (2009-2013) and SCCA June Sprints


Road America’s track is in many racing video games. It includes iRacing, Needs for Speed: Shift, Forza Motorsport series, Stock Car Evolution 2013, Shift 2: Unleashed, ToCA Pro Race Driver 2, and recent release is Project CARS.
